Our handmade Gingerbread House boxes are made from 1/8 inch corrugated cardboard and tied with double faced satin ribbon that has been heat sealed to prevent fraying.
Our boxes are made in the USA.

How our Gingerbread Houses were painted
Our boxes were painted using a process called silkscreening. A silkscreen is like a giant negative, it has tiny holes where the paint (known as ink) will be applied.
Ink is poured onto the screen and a squeegee is dragged across the screen forcing ink through the holes to the surface below. The process was repeated for each color layering the colors to create the Gingerbread House design.

How to turn your Gingerbread House into a holiday tissue box
***Before cutting your box, check if the tissue box fits and resize the tissue box as needed***
Copy the image of template, adjust image size so the dotted is the same length as the fold along the top of the roof the print it out. Line up the template dotted line with fold on the underside of the roof. Using a pen, poke through the center of the circles then remove the paper. Draw the cutting lines (solid lines in the template) using a ruler to connect the pen holes. When cutting along the lines, (Cut all the way through. pulling may damage the box).

Once upon a time, there were nine gingerbread men in a little painted gingerbread house
Our Gingerbread House box was originally created as a cookie box. Although the cookies are no more, the box was the real star. After losing my job during the pandemic, I had to adapt by thinking outside the box (literally) and Little Painted Box LLC was created.
